The American singer and songwriter Dan Fo- gelberg was born in Peoria, Illinois, but spent most of his life at his ranch in the Rocky Moun- tains, close to Denver. There he wrote almost all his most successful songs. In the 70ties and 80ties he recorded his most successful songs like “Souvenirs”, “Captured Angel”, Nether Lands”, “Phoenix” and “The Innocent Age”. His smooth tunes are still very popular nowa- days. Even though he was well known over- seas, he is only known among insiders in our region. In May 2004, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He died on December 16. 2007. Thanks to his widow the album “Love in Time” has been released in 2009.
