Gary Moore
From a musical point of view, the Irish singer and guitarist Gary Moore used to be very ver- satile: he used to be present in the internatio- nal charts, as a Hard-Rock musician as well as a Blues-Rock act. He was also a member of a Jazz-Rock-group called “Collosseum III”. During his long career, starting already in the early 70ties, he met the group Thin Lizzy, re- cording only album with them. In 1969 Gary Moore already earned his money together with “Thin Lizzy”’s boss Phil Lynott, with a band called “Skid Row”. With the super mu- sicians Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce, Gary founded the trio “BBM” in 1994 and they re- corded the album “Around the next Dream”. Important albums from Gary’s Hard-Rock area were „Corridors of Power“, „Victims of the Future“, „Run for Cover“, „Wild Fron- tier“ and „After the War“. The 2 important albums of his Blues career were „Still got the Blues“and „After Hours“. His dead body was discovered in a hotel room in the Spani- sh town Estepona. He died of a heart attack while sleeping.
